Officers and At Large Board Member Election

We will be conducting officer elections per the RARC bylaws.  Co-President 2, Secretary and one At-Large officer is up for election this year. A separate notice was sent to paid members on March 5th.  Please let us know if you are interested in running for any of these positions.
Candidates for election as Executive Board Members must be active Club members at least one year prior to the election or have attended at least six Regular meetings during the year.

Food Drive

Please bring a donation of non-perishable food to the meeting.  It will be donated to our local food pantry.  Last year our club donated several hundred pounds of food.  We appreciate your generosity.

Special Guest Speaker - Garrett Wheat, Chief of Staff for Sen. Ruth Johnson

Ranked Choice Voting - Ballot Proposal - Bad for MI?

We have heard about Ranked Choice Voting in Alaska and other states.  This allows for the top vote getters to have a run off election instead of our current party nomination process.  There is a grassroots organization looking to bring this to MI.  Garrett will give us a perspective on the impact to Michigan elections.
